The Northeast – Terms and Conditions  Effective Date: 20th October 2025

Welcome to Tour The Northeast. Before confirming any booking, please carefully read the following terms and conditions. By booking a tour, package, or service with us, you automatically agree to these terms.

1. Bookings and Confirmations

First, all bookings depend on availability. Then, a booking is considered confirmed only after the payment of the required deposit and the receipt of a confirmation email from Tour The Northeast. Furthermore, full payment must be completed according to the schedule mentioned in the booking confirmation.

2.Advance & full Payment:- You will need to deposit 35% of total tour cost amount in company account to Confirm the Booking and Balance final amount has  be paid  before your Tour starts. Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or other approved methods at the time of booking and at the time of final payment.

3.Cancellation Policy

Firstly, if cancellation occurs between thirty and sixteen days prior to check-in, then fifty percent retention will be applicable accordingly.

Moreover, when cancellations are made between fifteen and eight days before check-in, seventy-five percent of the total tour cost applies.

Furthermore, for cancellations or no-shows within seven days prior to check-in, one hundred percent tour cost becomes chargeable as retention.

Additionally, travelers are advised to review all policy details carefully before confirming, ensuring a smooth process during unexpected travel plan changes.

Consequently, any retention charges or approved refund process follows company guidelines, and it is always handled professionally within the mentioned policy timeframe.

Ultimately, through understanding these terms, guests maintain clarity, confidence, and fairness throughout every stage of their Bhutan travel arrangements.

4. Travel Documents

Travelers are required to obtain valid identification, permits, and visas when necessary. Moreover, denial of entry due to incomplete or invalid documentation will not be the responsibility of Tour The Northeast.

  • Mandatory Documents – 
    *Adult above 18 yrs- Original Voter Card or Passport ( minimum 6 months Validity ) .
    *Child below 18 yrs- Original Birth Certificate in English or Passport ( minimum 6 months Validity ) .
    Note :  Aadhar Card, PAN Card & Driving License are not accepted.
  • Vehicle Timing : 9:00 am to 6:00 PM ,Point to Point Sightseeing,  not at disposal Basis.
  • We are not liable for any change in the program arising due to Permit Failure, Bhutan Government Regulations,Natural Calamities,Etc.
  • IF THE HOTELS MENTIONED ARE NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO CERTAIN REASONS, then SIMILAR kind of  HOTEL WILL BE PROVIDED.

5. Health and Safety

Travelers must ensure they are medically fit for the tour. Additionally, any medical conditions or special requirements should be disclosed during booking. Therefore, personal travel insurance is strongly recommended.

6. Hotels and Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided according to the selected package, typically 3-star or above unless specified. Room preferences will be accommodated whenever possible, though they cannot always be guaranteed. Furthermore, any extra charges incurred during the stay, such as laundry or minibar, must be settled directly by the traveler.

7. Transportation

Transportation is arranged as per the itinerary. However, delays caused by weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen events are beyond our control.

8. Tour Itinerary

The itinerary is provided as a guideline. Accordingly, changes may occur due to local conditions, government restrictions, or safety concerns. Optional activities outside the itinerary are not included in the package price.

9. Behavior and Responsibility

Travelers are expected to respect local laws, customs, and communities. In addition, Tour The Northeast reserves the right to remove any traveler displaying inappropriate or disruptive behavior. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

10. Liability

Tour The Northeast is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. As a result, our liability is limited to the cost of the booked tour package.

11. Force Majeure

Events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions, may affect tour performance. Consequently, Tour The Northeast cannot be held liable under these circumstances.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Therefore, any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in West Bengal.
